It seems difficult to come up with surprise or outrage or wonder
at these goofs any more.  Every evening, I like to tune in the
Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report.  Sometimes,
I flip over the Olbermann's show if nothing else is going on. And
every evening, there are more examples of outrage, indecency,
disrespect, and idiocy from people in government than I have much
ability to digest nor react to very thoughtfully.  Not to mention
more billions allocated corruptly, wasted, or stolen, more dozens
of people from other countries massacred, more American soldiers
dead or wounded.  It is a bloody, evil, awful empire, and it is
hard to work up a good sincere level of outrage any more.

The wonder is not that 85% of Americans don't approve of Dick
Cheney and 72% don't approve of GW Bush.  The wonder is that
anyone approves of anything these goofballs do.  The amount of
killing, bleeding, wounding, dying, suffering, physical abuse,
racist slurs, and other forms of abuse distributed by this
government in the name of the American people is intolerable.

I remember when decent men and women protested this sort of crap.
