What really matters is who or what is in charge of your freedom. If you
as an individual are not in charge of it, then you are not free at
all, but merely enjoy the illusions of freedom which can be very
temporary in practice.

I don't agree with that. I think the design is far more sinister than
that implies. Even the constitution itself is a mechanism of control
that is highlighted by this sentence:

"If they write it, they can |un|re| write it."

Not to mention the fact, that you are not even a party to the
constitution in the first place.

That serves to support my first point in that this "they" that are
writing your freedoms and the very "they" that can take them away. Thus,
you are not free at all and will not be until you shake off all of
that including the constitution itself.

Then with all due respect, you will always be a slave who enjoys the
illusions of freedom for who knows how long.
