>From the press release:

>"the government also attacked other prominent exchange services that deal
in e-gold; IceGold, The Bullion Exchange, Gitgold, Denver Gold Exchange,
AnyGoldNow, and Gold Pouch Express, plus a sophisticated and secure
alternative payment system called "1MDC".

That's CRAZY!

The U.S. government, by blatantly ignoring it's own laws, has finally
reduced itself to the status of just another street gang - at least in my
eyes.

Really, why should I, or anyone else view them as anything beyond a large,
well-funded, heavily armed group with a
fairly affective IT department?

Okay, rant finished.

At this point, I think the eCache model has a lot to offer.

If the majority of major service providers adopted this model or tailored
their services to facilitate in and out exchanges
of eCache and other eCach like DGC's, it would be very difficult to
interrupt the flow of commerce.

I especially like the photo of the actual gold bullion coins ;)

Also, it might be a good time to remind all of the timeless
axiom: "Divide and conquer."

There are a lot of highly reputable service providers in the
e-gold community. Unfortunately, there is also a lot of
rather juvenile in-fighting and slanderous horse crap.

Just as a point of consideration:
If your business was the only business in some town - or
in cyberspace, how much money would it make?

In my own professional experience, I usually encounter associates who are
mostly overbearing type A alpha-male contestants who spend more time trying
to undermine one another than providing good service. They think the job
description is being able to look good in a suit and know what a gun looks
like. Beyond that, they try to insure their positions by slandering whoever
they can, in order shift attention away from the fact that they can't find
their
own asses with both hands and radar. They never last long.

The true professionals are too focused on giving the job at
hand their all, and have no time for petty nonsense.
These are always the people I seek out on protection details.
These are also the people I go to first when I'm looking for
more personel for whatever project I happen to be putting
together. These are also the people I get the most calls from,
and who, ultimately result in me making the most money.

I think cooperative contingency planning should be the
current buzz in the DGC market, community, whatever you
want to call it.

That is how any group of true professionals get through
difficult times or solve problems.

I wish Douglas Jackson and e-gold all the best in this.

They have been the industry leader and set the standard
for DGC's.

e-gold, by far, deserves to win, both financially and in
their current legal battle.

Good luck all.
