[e-gold-list] Account history

An interesting thing I just noticed with one's e-gold account history,
having just downloaded my history _since the beginning_, is that the
account _name_ is not what it may have appeared as at the time of the
transaction. If someone edits their account name, or maybe sells or
gives the account to someone else (I don't know if this has actually
happened with anyone I have traded with), then their new description
appears in the history, *because* obviously, only the account number
must be saved in the database, along with the transaction details, not
the account name, which must be retrieved at the time you download
your account history.

I'm not complaining. At least the memo field is still there!

So, looking at the early transactions I have reference to
...gold6.org, which of course, didn't exist back then, and ......'s
ancient e-gold account (which wasn't ancient at the time, I presume),
another one now is named (scarily) "KP Movies"!, but the memo reminds
me it was for an e-gold to PayPal transfer (the only one I ever did),
and I remember that the person, from the e-gold list at the time,
certainly was not called "KP Movies" at the time! I would have to dig
up ancient MS Outlook archives to remember who it actually was. ?? Is
this a device used in the e-gold database to tag accounts closed for
Kiddie Porn??
