[e-gold-list] An International Free Market Currency -- Possible?!?!

In todays legal / financial scenario, is it possible to have a completely 
independant, offshore and legal DGC, without any sort of legal issues or 
interference from any government?

Till about a year back, I would probably have thought e-Gold is THAT, but, 
apparantely NO, not yet, atleast!

NetPay recently faced a few issues which forced netpay to go offline for a 
few weeks. Fortunately, these issues have been resolved and things should be 
back to normal (with minor corrections), by the end of this week. It was 
during this fiasco (which was probably very similar to what e-Gold and 
goldage experience) that we were faced with the realisation that, DGCs could 
VERY WELL die out, unless we come out with an airtight legally binding 
system of operating these businesses!

How can DGCs survive against (highly biased) government and legal 
institutions? :)
