It is still susceptible to the Man-in-the-Middle phishing. There is no
perfect security solution, but additional hoops to jump through need
to be evaluated on the benefit they provide.

They most certainly will. People don't want to hear facts or be shown
logic though. Ignorance is more comfortable than knowledge and
critical thinking requires admitting that you could be wrong.
