Not many details on the Supragold site. Looks pretty skeletal except
for attacks on possible competing DGCs.

For my money I'm betting on eCache or similar DBCs. Its apparent to
me that centralized, book entry, financial systems present too great a
point of attack for unregulated financial systems. As we now can see
the risk from anonymity and operator fraud or lack of standardized
governance procedures, which have much been an area of concern, can be
dwarfed by police actions. There has been some good thinking about
how traditional auditors can use innovative but sound techniques to
determine asset backing without either the identity of the operators
or the location of the assets being revealed.

I've heard there will soon be a open source, generalized digital
ewallet available supporting eCache and some popular DGCs (assuming
there are any popular ones soon). Its time for former E-gold
exchangers to consider new digital gold and even fiat payment systems
that cannot so easily be shut down.
