At least that money could buy something: the ability to progress faster
at a game (by cheating, IMO).  A completely new and unbacked currency
would seem to have no value at all.

If you disagree then I'm going to launch my own!  Forget INTGold, this
is the INTPete.  Completely unbacked, not linked to anything, and
available to you at $1 per note. :-)
