Yes, the irony can be astounding at times, considering what some
people call "investments." A while back someone calculated their
dollar-return vs similar returns for the early investors wise enough to
put their money in Berkshire Hathaway with legendary superinvestor
Warren Buffett & discovered similar "blue chip" returns. Of course,
part of what's interesting to me about this is that TGC's return is in
terms of grams of gold rather than any fiat currency.

Thanks for doing this math. And since nobody else has mentioned
it here yet, http://2465679.thegoldcasino.com is having another big
contest 'till Friday, with a 200 gram prize. It's rumored that some
shareholders use dividends to play at TGC, which (if true) is sweet
for the other shareholders! :)

PS. On a *LESS* positive note, regardless of the problems faced by
individual Iranians these days, apparently the big-government sector
in Iran is doing as well as that sector has been doing planetwide...
