Hello everyone,
Recent topics of discussion on the list have caused me to wonder what might
also be happening with
the GoldAge case.
I found this entry on the Wikipedia site and I think it might be of interest
to all:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_Age
Additionally, I've been following the legal tribulations of the DGC
industry, crumbling privacy for individuals, changes in offshore banking
policies, etc. for the last seven or so years.
It all brings to mind a Native American proverb, that, until I was in
business for myself, never
truly understood- "There is no greater honor than knowing that another man
hates me."
Relevant to this, there are some other interesting things a person can find
on the net.
1. A pdf novel called "A Lodging of Wayfaring Men". It's a bit dreamy in an
Ann Ryand sort of
way, but still worth the read.
2. Some open source software called "Freenet" found @
http://freenetproject.org/
3. a Google search on the topic of 'hawala banking'. Very stimulating.
Imagine what Carl Sagan might have to say- "A billion billion DGCs."
Heaven forbid we should do as JMR suggests, and THINK.
I trust that what I write here needs no further elaboration to anyone.
Happy Holidays!
William Maderas
