Tom,
Unless you are engaging in crime (and posting ugly things - even
presuming you did - does not rise to the level of "criminal"), e-gold
has no moral right to seize your gold. Yes, they have every right to
stop doing business with you at any time, but they cannot just seize
your gold - they have to give it back in a reasonable way.
If e-gold is being coerced by the US guv in this, they should say so.
If they are acting on orders from the Feds and are intimidated and
forbidden from saying so... well, the situation would look just like
this.
If they had integrity, e-gold would hire an independent arbitrator to
resolve the issue. Seizing with no recourse and no intelligent
response is simply offensive.
e-gold: If you dispute Tom's statements, it would be appropriate for
you to say so. "A decent respect for the opinions of mankind," and so
forth.
