You can't melt 'em anymore, but you can still "own" US
cents worth more than twice their face value. Obviously,
these pre-'82 pennies will go the way of pennies with the
wheat reverse sides, so I encourage e-gold list users to
take them out of circulation permanently. The best way
IMO is to harness young eyes in the task, so let your
kids sift through your change daily looking at dates.

Also, 'tis the Season for me to say, "Avoid the mall and
its parking-nightmare, e-gold makes a great gift!" again,
so I just said it. I wish everyone a merry whatever it is
you celebrate.
