I think you are deluded about wherever "here" is. In my
experience, America has the least corrupt courts in the
world, the courts in America are less permissive of
government misconduct than anywhere else. Anywhere
else, a government official has to be caught in bed with
a dead boy to suffer any consequences. In most of the
world, if a public servant is caught stuffing a ballot
box, the reflexive court reaction is to jail anyone who
notices.
